3. Measurement
Take the size of your room and measure the space you want to cover.
Space to be carpeted may be 14-15 inches less than the room size. You
may leave 13-15 inches space like border around carpet. You can make a

4. Durability
Durability of a carpet depends upon materials used in carpet making.
Rugs made using natural fibers as wool, silk, and cotton are more
durable than synthetic fibers like nylon, polyester etc. These carpets
can maintain its beauty and luster. A high traffic area needs a
longwearing, stain resistant fiber like wool, while a bedroom may
require only something that is soft to the touch like silk. So people
mainly prefer the luxury of Silk carpets in the bedroom.

5. Designs, Pattern and Style
Design is very important feature of a carpet. Design, pattern and
style are the first things which impress human eyes. Designs may be
categorize as geometrical design, floral design and pictorial design.
In geometrical designs, objects adjusted in geometrical way. In floral
design, flowers, leafs and branchege used as elements. In pictorial

6. Color
